The grades shown on this site are preliminary BEE grades, based on public information about each builder. They are not a certification. No listed company has been certified by BEE.
How scores work
Builder grades start at a 60-point base; the BEE score adds up to 40 more points. The result is shown as a percentage.
The Gold tier is based on the raw BEE score, before the 60-point base is added: Gold marks a raw BEE score of 50 or more foundation points.
